The new A-5 S V2 Youth Chest Protector is a detachable chest protector with CE/UKCA Level 2 certified floating polyhedral hybrid technology. With a CE/UKCA Level 2 certified viscoelastic adaptive back protector, CE/UKCA Level 1 shoulder protectors and contoured biofoam rib protectors, the A-5 s V2 offers excellent upper body impact protection, freedom of movement and ventilation.
On the inner side of the outer shell, the A-5 s V2 has a perforated impact grille that forms both the second line of protection in the hybrid structure and offers improved airflow to reduce heat build-up under the protection .
The dual-zone chest protector, while having a rigid central zone, has a soft, flexible compound around the perimeter supported by soft biofoam padding that works as an adaptive system that molds to the chest. The central area of the chest protector directly behind the highly perforated impact grille is completely open to allow maximum ventilation.
The new highly perforated CE/UKCA Level 2 certified back protector is made from flexible and adaptive viscoelastic material which offers excellent ventilation and weight saving properties.
The chest and back protectors are securely attached via adjustable shoulder straps. The lower attachment is via easy-connect buckles and V-straps which also secure the rib protectors in place.The V-straps distribute the tightening force over a larger area of the back protector, ensuring a more secure and comfortable fit. Rib protectors offer additional coverage in critical areas.
The A-5 Youth V2 Chest Protector features removable CE/UKCA Level 1 certified viscoelastic shoulder protectors mounted on soft-touch foam padding and is secured to the main frame with hook-and-loop patches. Elastic upper arm adjustment straps keep shoulder pads securely in place.
