Rev'it Sand 5 H2O Brown Blue Motorcycle Jacket
The Sand series is an icon of the REV’IT! brand, embodying a distinctive style that has defined the journey within the motorcycle industry over the years. The legacy continues with the Sand 5 H2O jacket. The Evolution The latest iteration of the Sand series is an evolution rather than a new development. The change is noticeable in small tweaks and adjustments aimed at improving overall performance. The Sand 5 jacket (part of the Sand 5 outfit with matching pants) remains as relevant today as it was fifteen years ago. In creating the Sand 5, we have achieved a delicate balance, paying homage to the past while looking to the future. This product contains recycled polyester: • Shell of outer garment contains 67% recycled polyester • Lining of outer garment contains 31% recycled polyester : • Removable waterproof liner contains 36% recycled polyester • Removable thermal liner contains 100% recycled polyester Changing styles The Sand 5 H2O Jacket has a slightly sportier feel than the Sand 4. Adventure bikes are becoming sportier and more dynamic, and the Sand 5 H2O reflects this shift in the industry. Combining the pace of sport with the thirst for adventure, the Sand 5 H2O Jacket fuses two genres into one. Plus, the jacket is hydration-ready in the lower back pocket (like our Trail Vest), with a cutout in the left corner to route a water hose under the arm and on the front, to attach on the left side. The Over and Under Concept As we did in one of our ADV jackets, the Offtrack 2 H2O, we have applied our know-how on the over and under waterproof lining concept to the Sand 5 H2O jacket. The detachable hydratex 3L liner can be worn over or under the protective layer, depending on personal preference, to keep the rain away and not get wet. We recommend wearing it over, for the high-performance characteristics of the membrane and for its aesthetic value. For added warmth and comfort on cold and rainy days, a detachable thermal liner is also included and can be worn separately.
